Hi-Precision Urinalysis Price in the Philippines: Current Cost, Branch Prices & Guide

Routine urinalysis at participating Hi-Precision branches is listed at ₱160 through Hati Health, while Hi-Precision Plus listings show ₱180. Hati’s separate Hi-Precision Cebu group lists ₱140. These are online booking offers; ask your selected branch for its current price if you intend to pay at the counter.
Hati also displays crossed-out reference prices of ₱260, ₱280 and ₱240, respectively. These should not be treated as independently verified walk-in rates. Hi-Precision’s official service catalogue states that prices can vary by branch.
Hi-Precision urinalysis prices
| Provider group on Hati Health | Online price listed | Crossed-out reference price |
|---|---|---|
| Hi-Precision | ₱160 | ₱260 |
| Hi-Precision Plus | ₱180 | ₱280 |
| Hi-Precision Cebu | ₱140 | ₱240 |

How to check your branch’s published price
The official Hi-Precision service catalogue provides filters for branch and test name. Select your branch and look for the test named on your request form.
The page says prices may vary by branch and displays a June 23, 2026 price-update date. We could verify the catalogue and its filters, but could not retrieve a branch-specific urinalysis price during this review.
If no price appears, contact the branch. Confirm the current cash price, whether the specimen container is included, and any applicable discount. Treat Hati’s crossed-out amount as a platform reference rather than a confirmed counter quote.
Published urinalysis prices by branch
| Branch | Online price on Hati | Crossed-out reference price |
|---|---|---|
| Hi-Precision Marikina | ₱160 | ₱260 |
| Hi-Precision Baliuag, Bulacan | ₱160 | ₱260 |
| Hi-Precision Plus BF Homes, Parañaque | ₱180 | ₱280 |
| Hi-Precision Plus Calamba, Laguna | ₱180 | ₱280 |
| Hi-Precision Plus MOA, Pasay | ₱180 | ₱280 |
These prices come from Hati’s published branch and test listings.
The Plus examples cost ₱20 more than the standard branch examples. That difference applies to these urinalysis offers, not every service or location. Consider transport costs and convenience before travelling farther to save ₱20.
Check branch hours and the urine-sample acceptance cutoff before visiting. A clinic’s closing time may not be the latest time it accepts samples.
Online booking versus paying at the branch
Booking through Hati Health
Select the exact test and branch, review the current offer, and follow the payment and confirmation instructions. For listings marked “Instant Booking,” check that the confirmation has arrived before you travel.
Hati’s MOA listing says patients can walk in without choosing a specific time slot and should bring their confirmation email and a valid government-issued ID. Its “Book Now” option states that the service should be claimed within 30 days. Follow the validity period attached to your actual purchase, since booking options can have different terms.
Walking in without an online booking
Ask the branch for its cash price. The online offers are ₱100 below Hati’s displayed reference prices, but that does not prove a ₱100 saving against the current branch-counter charge.
You can ask:
Magkano po ang routine urinalysis kung sa branch ako magbabayad? Kasama na po ba ang specimen container, at kailan makukuha ang result?
If you need several tests, request an itemised quote and compare it with the online total. Booking tests together does not automatically create an additional package discount.
How Hi-Precision compares with other laboratories
Hati also lists these online routine urinalysis offers:
| Laboratory and location | Online price listed |
|---|---|
| EC Care, Mandaue | ₱75 |
| Access Laboratory, Caloocan | ₱100 |
| RemediXpress, Pulilan | ₱100 |
| Exact Check, Banawe or Libis, Quezon City | ₱110 |
| Ashrey Diagnostic Center, Makati or Taguig | ₱195 |
| La Sante, Ermita | ₱195 |
| Singapore Diagnostics, participating branches | ₱380 |
These are selected offers from Hati’s listings, not a nationwide price range or a ranking of laboratory quality. Confirm the selected branch, test inclusions and final price. Compare in-clinic testing separately from home collection, which may have additional fees or minimum orders.
Government hospital comparison: UP–PGH
UP–Philippine General Hospital publishes different rates by laboratory unit and patient category:
| PGH laboratory listing | Service rate | Outpatient-pay rate |
|---|---|---|
| Clinical Microscopy: automated urinalysis | ₱240 | ₱260 |
| Medical Research Laboratory: urinalysis | ₱100 | ₱200 |
Source: UP–PGH’s published rates and fees.
Hi-Precision’s listed online offers are below the two PGH outpatient-pay amounts shown here. However, this is a comparison of published test fees, not a guarantee of identical testing methods, access requirements or total visit costs.
Ask PGH which laboratory accepts your request, whether you qualify for its service rate, and whether registration or consultation is needed. Do not assume every walk-in patient can obtain the ₱100 rate.
If your doctor adds a CBC test to your laboratory request, you can check the CBC cost so you know the full cost of the visit.
What routine urinalysis checks
Urinalysis examines a urine sample and can help a clinician assess urinary tract infection, kidney problems, diabetes and other conditions. It may also form part of pregnancy care or a medical examination.
Depending on the order, testing may include:
- Appearance: urine colour and clarity.
- Chemical findings: acidity, concentration, protein, glucose, ketones and other substances.
- Microscopic findings: blood cells, bacteria, crystals and casts.
An abnormal result does not establish a diagnosis by itself. A clinician considers your symptoms, medical history and other findings before deciding whether treatment or further tests are needed.
How to prepare for urinalysis
You generally do not need to fast for urinalysis alone. If the same appointment includes fasting blood sugar or other tests requiring preparation, follow the instructions for the full request.
Tell the laboratory about medicines and supplements you take. Do not stop prescribed treatment unless your clinician instructs you to. Avoid drinking excessive water just to provide a sample, because it can dilute the urine and affect results.
If you are menstruating: Hati’s Hi-Precision Plus MOA listing instructs patients to collect the sample at least three days after the last day of menstruation. If your test is urgent or you have symptoms, ask your clinician about timing rather than delaying it yourself.
Collecting a clean-catch, midstream sample
Follow the laboratory’s instructions:
- Obtain the specimen container recommended by the laboratory.
- Wash your hands and clean the urinary opening as instructed.
- Begin urinating into the toilet.
- Collect the middle part of the stream in the container, avoiding contact with its inside or lid.
- Finish urinating into the toilet, close the container and submit it promptly.
For home collection, ask the branch about the accepted container, delivery time and storage conditions first. A first-morning sample may be requested, but it is not required for every urinalysis.
Laboratories usually process routine tests together, and a lipid profile test is a common addition. You can check the lipid profile test price in the Philippines.
Urinalysis, urine culture and drug testing are different
Urine culture and sensitivity: A culture looks for bacterial or other microbial growth. Susceptibility testing can help identify which antibiotics may work against the organism found. If your request says “urine culture” or “C&S,” ask for that specific test and its price.
Urine drug testing: This checks for specified drugs and has separate requirements. Routine urinalysis does not replace it. See our drug test price guide if it appears on your employment checklist.
Allergy testing is another laboratory service patients often ask about during the same visit. You can check the cost of allergy testing.
HMO and PhilHealth coverage
Check your HMO before paying out of pocket. Hi-Precision says most branches accept HMO patients, but coverage depends on your plan, selected branch and approved request.
The official online HMO approval page requires submission at least two days before your visit, with:
- A valid ID.
- Your HMO card.
- A test request from an HMO-accredited doctor, with the diagnosis.
Hi-Precision says approved requests are valid within two days of the appointment date. Wait for approval confirmation and follow the dates provided.
PhilHealth: Hi-Precision’s official FAQ states that its facility is currently not PhilHealth-accredited. Do not assume PhilHealth will cover a direct urinalysis purchase there.
Senior citizen and PWD discounts
Eligible senior citizens and persons with disabilities can receive a 20% discount and VAT exemption, where applicable, on covered diagnostic and laboratory services under the relevant laws and implementing rules. Hi-Precision’s own FAQ also confirms a 20% laboratory discount for senior patients.
The rules generally allow the promotional discount or statutory discount, whichever is more favourable, rather than adding both discounts together.
Before buying an online offer, ask the branch to calculate your eligible final charge. Bring your senior citizen or PWD ID and any required medical request. Compare the actual amounts payable instead of subtracting 20% from an already discounted online price.
Frequently asked questions
How soon will I receive the result?
Ask the selected branch. Hati displays “30 mins” on some listings, but we could not verify that this represents report turnaround time. It should not be treated as a guaranteed result-release time or total waiting time.
Hi-Precision provides an online patient results portal. Ask staff when your report will be available and how to access it.
Do I need a doctor’s request?
Confirm the requirement with your selected branch for a self-paid test. A booking page that does not mention a request form is not proof that one will never be required. For HMO approval, Hi-Precision explicitly requires a request from an HMO-accredited doctor with the diagnosis.
Can I use the result for a pre-employment medical?
Ask your employer whether it accepts results from Hi-Precision and whether routine urinalysis meets the requirement. Check the complete test list and any required clinic or report-validity period before booking.
When fever is being investigated, a dengue test is one of the first checks doctors order. You can check the dengue test price in the Philippines.
How to avoid unnecessary costs
- Match the test to your request. Confirm whether you need routine urinalysis, culture or drug testing.
- Check HMO approval first. Get confirmation before purchasing a separate cash offer.
- Compare final prices. Check online checkout, the branch quote and any eligible senior or PWD rate.
- Include travel costs. A nearby branch may cost less overall than a cheaper test farther away.
- Confirm collection and release times. This can help you avoid a second trip or an unusable sample.
How we checked these prices
On October 7, 2026, CareCostPH reviewed Hati Health’s routine urinalysis group listings, selected branch examples and other laboratory offers, Hi-Precision’s official catalogue, FAQ and HMO instructions, and UP–PGH’s published fee schedule. We did not obtain telephone quotes or independently verify branch-counter prices. Online offers can change.
General testing guidance was checked against Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and MedlinePlus’s guides to urinalysis, sample collection and bacterial culture. Discount information was checked against RA 9994 and its implementing rules and the implementing rules of RA 10754.
